About me.
I started Konrath Konfections a few years after I met my husband and made his birthday cake. I realized I had a true passion for feeding people and making them smile through desserts I created. While I’m not classically trained, I have a knack for making things from scratch whether that be cookies to brownies to creme brulée. One may ask well what can you make and to be honest that’s a difficult question to answer because if someone asks me to make something unless I know I can’t deliver I tell them I’m self-taught so you tell me what you like, and we will go from there. I currently work in the coffee industry where I believe you should get what you pay for so if I can make something from scratch I do it and with the best ingredients I can find. When possible, I do work beside my lovely and supportive husband Rob who helps me tremendously in the kitchen. While right now I am a home-based bakery I am hoping to get my mobile bakery up and running sooner than later. For those that worry yes, it is out of my home, however, while working I treat my kitchen as if I am in surgery with how much I clean and how often I wash my hands. I hope to bake for you soon!
